  6. I was highly impressed with the design of your website. It is very well put together and being a fellow Queen City resident, I totally get where you're coming from. Everything on your website is well documented and you present the issue with the utmost clarity. I have thought about this issue myself and it was nice to see a fellow native do something about it! You have my backing! Also, I remember when those new cans came out for the garbage and recycling. Haha, because they had never been used, I hid inside the large brown garbage can and waited for my mom to walk by and scare her for laughs. The large green recycling can was a nice addition because before that (as I'm sure you recall), there were the annoyingly small, red recycling bins that you had to carry to the end of your driveway, and if you have a long driveway like myself, carrying them to the end of the driveway in the wintertime is extremely bothersome.

  7. Peer evaluating your paper and then seeing the multimedia project brings things full circle. Recycling is extremely important and the benefits and the importance of it needs to be taught to children and adults alike. I think implementing different colored bins is helpful and creative. By making recycling colorful, visually driven learners and children alike will want to get involved. And as stated in your presentation, the state or city should issue them and citizens should not pay for them. A great idea is to make the bins out of recycled material that's durable in all degrees of weather and not to heavy for recyclers to lug down their driveway or for sanitation engineers to dump into their trucks.

  8. I love the fact that your proposal is based on recycling in major cities. After seeing countless videos on the impact of mass ignorance of recycling, I feel as though your proposal can be one of the first steps in curtailing this issue.
