All,
You may replace your worst quiz grade of the semester with 100% if you:
1. Make an excellent infographic of the quotation paradigm.
2. Memorize the following paragraph and deliver it to the class without error:
Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires not that the writer make all his sentences short, or that he avoid all detail and treat his subjects only in outline, but that every word tell.

There is no limit to the number of people who can get extra credit (2). Only one person will be able to get extra credit (1), and that is the person who makes the infographic which is most informative and which I like the best by the end of Thanksgiving Break. You are all eligible for both, but only one person will be able to replace two quiz grades.
And by what date would the paragraph have to be memorized?
